Northern Norway boasts a distinctive natural beauty that transforms with the colors and light of its four seasons. This tour immerses you in these breathtaking landscapes. Starting from Tromso city center, you’ll journey to the western coast of Tromso. With a small group size (maximum of eight people), the experience is intimate and cozy.

You’ll be driven to Tromso’s countryside. Depending on snow and weather conditions, the walk may be done with or without snowshoes. In the autumn months (October and November), you’ll enjoy the vibrant countryside before it’s blanketed in snow. In winter, the landscape turns into a snowy playground.

After the drive, stretch your legs with a pleasant walk up a small mountain. The Arctic nature promises an unforgettable experience. During the walk, you can spot wildlife, and upon reaching the summit, you’ll be provided with lunch. Your guide will take photos throughout the tour and share them with you afterward, free of charge. Just enjoy the hike.

Embark on an adventurous journey through Tromsø’s wild side with this small-group outdoor hiking tour, and discover the Arctic landscape on foot. Participants will be guided to Tromsø’s countryside, surrounded by stunning mountains, fjords, and valleys, where they will snowshoe up a small mountain or traverse a valley. Snowshoes will be provided, making it both easier and more enjoyable to walk on the snow.

During the autumn months of October and November, the vibrant countryside can be admired before it becomes blanketed in snow. When snow is minimal, the tour transforms into a hiking experience without the need for snowshoes.

• When exceptional situations arise (e.g. weather cancellations) it is important to reach you. This is easiest if you provide your contact on the road (phone number + correct country code)
• Snowshoes (snow rackets) are included, please give us your shoe sizes
• The place where you will be staying at (Hotel, Air BnB or other)
• Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking as well as medical condition if needed
• Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. Make sure you wear warm and water resistant clothes and have an extra layer with you and shoes/boots that are suitable for hiking
• It is recommended that you bring a bottle of water with you (0,5 liters shoud be enough)

• Please be prepared for limited toilet facilities, there will be a gas station stop during the drive, however the camp itself is in the wild Arctic nature where the only toilet possibilities are in the forest (there are no pre-built facilities)
• Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if less than 2 passengers per tours. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
• Please arrive 15 minutes early, the guide must depart at 10am.
• If there is no snow, or not much snow, we’ll hike instead of snowshoe.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
