• Tromsøya - Venture beyond the usual routes and discover Tromsø island from a unique angle. Our guide will lead you away from the well-trodden paths into the embrace of our native wilderness. In this distinctive gathering, we’ll chart, set up, and keep an eye on birdhouses.

Together, we’ll navigate on foot and by public transportation to the wooded regions on Tromsø island to engage in our community-led scientific study. The Tromsø area is a habitat for three varieties of owls and a host of melodious songbirds. If fortune favors us, you may even catch a glimpse of some avian species or other indigenous wildlife during our adventure.

The standout items of this event are playing the role of a community scientist for the day, understanding birds and wildlife through the eyes of a conservationist, and contributing in providing secure nesting spots for owls and songbirds. The likelihood of spotting songbirds, squirrels, and other wildlife in this activity is quite high.
