Fabulous trip - This tour was amazing. Very special, so informative and educational, as they say every day is a school day. Karl and Julia were wonderful guides and crew were very nice. All staff were very quick to point out wildlife to us, we were lucky enough to see porpoises, the white tail eagle and the exceptionally rare moose dog. Ok it was just a big dog but we enjoyed it none the less. Unfortunately we did not have cash to tip the crew and guides so this will have to do. If you get the chance book up and enjoy! Thanks everyone

Sam was a wonderful tour... - Sam was a wonderful tour guide, very informative. Fish tasting was a bonus. Great that trip was flexible around what group wanted to see and that it was a small group.

Glorious scenery - Mesmeric tour amidst amazing scenery. New boat spotlessly clean. Best of all the welcoming, smiley guide, Frieda, who was charming and spontaneously humorous.

Great experience - Very nice experience onboard of modern catamaran. We saw fjords with different wildlife. Crew was nice, giving us the best possible service and telling us a lot of interesting info about the locality, animals, history and traditions.

Lovely way to see the fjords - Spent a lovely morning cruising on this beautiful boat. The crew were lovely and attended to what every you needed. Fjords were beautiful, not much wildlife to see for this time of year. Freda gave few chats to make it more interesting. Not sure about the stop off for fishing experience thing, felt like they were trying to fill the time a little. But overall great way to see the fjords from the water.

Definitely NOT a wildlife tour - Warning - this is a fjord cruise not a wildlife cruise!! Unfortunately it was grey and raining on the Sunday morning when I did this tour which is not the fault of the tour organisers, but it did nothing to lift my spirits. The boat is nice, a modern catamaran powered by electricity so it is very quiet. There is a ground floor seating area where the bar is and an upper deck which is better for viewing. I am sure the information I read suggested that you could buy refreshments on the boat but it was very limited - coffee, alcohol drinks and waffles. As the tour starts at 8 a.m. but you have to be there 15 minutes earlier, and it was Sunday I could not get breakfast at my hotel before I left (I suspect many hotels don’t start breakfasts on a Sunday much before 7.30!). This did not add to my mood, as the coffee I bought on board was limited to filter coffee and was cold. So if you are planning on going, take food and hot and cold drinks with you! There was no real attempt to find or identify any wildlife. The bird life was limited to seagulls, and at one point they lowered an underwater camera into the water but there were only a few tiny fish. We made one stop at an old salmon fishery which is no longer used for that purpose, and the guide showed us a drying rack where fish was hanging for months to dry it out, as well as a frozen angler fish which appeared to have been in the freezer for a very long time. At the end of the stop they offered us a taste of some smoked fish and to sell us aquavit shots, but the smell was fairly nauseating. None of the crew made any attempt to point out any birds or other wildlife so I am really at a loss to say why they call it a wildlife tour. I usually do much better research than this so I did feel disappointed by this tour, as I had already been on a ship from Bergen to Tromso, it was the wildlife component of the tour that I was most interested in.

Nice staff/ Boring cruise - This tour was supposed to include a tour of the fjord near Tromso and wildlife viewing. I have to say that this was the most boring dissapointing boat tour I have ever been on. We saw zero wildlife and basically just slowly cruised around the fjord with no clear focus for hours before returning back. We made a stop at a fish drying area which was underwhelming and paused to see a Cold War era dry dock entrance. The food was expensive and pretty meager. One small bowl of soup and a single half piece of bread. We paid for extra snacks to keep us going. I would recommend saving your money and shop in Tromso instead. The staff were nice which is why I gave it 2 and not 1 star.

Not worth the money - For 1300 kroner you would probably expect to see something more exciting than a seastar or sea urchin. This unfortunantly has to be the most boring trip I have ever been on. The «museum» was an old storage room with a couple of life vests and some old fishing nets… The crew was nice and the boat was nice, but that was about it. Wish I had spent my day and my money differently unfortunantly.

Boring, boring!! - The ship is new, but there were too many people on board that there were not enough seats on board and you had to sit on folding chairs, which were very uncomfortable. at a slow pace we went into a fjord with no special information or special wildlife viewing (there was only information about the houses on land) A disappointment.
