Jan Armenia - Armenia in Jan: Go with these guys - Would recommend this company to help you around Armenia. We took a day tour package for winter adventure tour in Tsaghkadzor. Our guide-driver, Vache, was very accommodating, communicates well in English and very helpful throughout the day. It was a Sunday with an incredibly pleasant, sunny weather for a snowy season (consider ourselves lucky). Even though it was quite a busy day as more locals and families are coming to the ski resort, it was rather a smooth experience. Thanks to Vache. We did the ropeway, snowmobiling, winter tubing, and skiing. Coming from a tropical country, experiencing snow, we had an absolute blast — although, a little bit far-stretched as some activities are quite extreme for us. A piece of advice, if you go on a weekend in Tsaghkadzor resort, try to finish your activities fast before the sunset, as you will be stuck in a horrendous traffic. Also, if you're a beginner going to do some winter activities, do at least a minimum homework to know what you are getting into (unlike us lol). Especially skiing or snowboarding. Try to learn the theory, as some of the instructors don't speak English well (or not at all). But, I can assure you they're very patient. Wear proper winter sports gears, do a little warm-up, and expect a lot of falling. The resort is relatively safe, however, you cannot control other people's actions like some skiers accidentally ramming into people. So, keep an eye on the surroundings. Overall, our trip was wonderful and definitely memorable. If you are looking for a smooth experience, you can count on this company. nO rAgrETs.
