Mombasa/Diani to Tsavo East National Park

Tsavo East National Park - Bachuma Gate - 7:00 AM: Guests are picked up from their Mombasa/Diani hotel or the airport and driven to Tsavo East National Park via the Mombasa-Nairobi Trans-African Highway. At 10:00 AM, they enter Tsavo East Park through the Bachuma Gate and enjoy a game drive until lunchtime. Check-in at the lodge is scheduled in time for lunch. At 3:30 PM, guests depart the lodge for an evening game drive until 6:00 PM. The tour includes a visit to the pipeline area, where many elephants gather due to the abundance of water holes for mud bathing. This is an excellent opportunity to see various wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, numerous elephants, and, with some luck, the Big Cats. Dinner and rest follow.

Tsavo East National Park to Mombasa/Diani

Tsavo East National Park - Bachuma Gate - An early breakfast is followed by a morning game drive to capture the sunrise, offering a great chance to see the Big Cats either hunting or feasting on a kill, especially lions. Later, guests depart for Mombasa via the Voi-Mombasa Highway, arriving in the afternoon. The tour concludes with a drop-off in Mombasa.
