- Komli \/ ááááá - We provide an authentic dining experience featuring a menu of traditional meals crafted from locally-sourced, trusted ingredients obtained from our village’s allied farms. Guests are invited to dine on the expansive terrace of our historic home, which is over 150 years old, offering a breathtaking view of the Gomis Mta (Lesser Caucasus Mountains that separate Guria and Adjara) that often reveals itself under clear blue skies. The terrace is fully equipped to offer comfort and protection should the weather turn rainy, with blankets readily available for added warmth. Each dish is lovingly and expertly prepared under the guidance of our head Chef and the family’s matriarch - Meri bebo (Grandmother Meri). Our menu includes a variety of salads, seasoned vegetables, dishes suitable for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike, baked goods, a range of local sauces, and traditional drinks such as honey vodka and wine made from native grape varieties, all culminating in a sweet dessert. An adept toastmaster will lead guests in raising glasses in toasts to family, love, friendship, and all the cherished values of a genuine Georgian Supra celebration.

A quintessential part of Georgian culture is the Georgian Supra. Without experiencing it, one may not fully understand the essence of Georgia. As per ancient wisdom, Georgia had three significant academies since the 12th century. These include the Gelati Academy in Kutaisi, Ikalto Academy, and the Academy of Supra. The Supra is a treasured institution where the young generation absorbs significant values, gastronomy, and wine culture. Essentially, ‘Supra’ means ‘feast’, symbolizing the art of commemorating various events like weddings, birthdays, childbirth, or even spontaneous festivities.
Supra comes with its own set of rules:
The leader of the Supra, known as the Tamada, is chosen;
He commences different topics for everyone to toast to, although participation is not mandatory;
The order and number of mandatory toasts are pre-established;
Toasts should be innovative and poetic;
Traditional Supra usually involves drinking white wine, occasionally vodka, but never beer! Singing is incorporated into the Supra ritual and one might get to listen to the beautiful trio from Guria.
