The cave is famous for its huge halls, underground lakes and rivers where you can sail on boats and admire the magnificent views of the cave. The cave is named Prometheus, because not so far from it is Mount Khvamli, to which, according to legend, the titan of Prometheus was chained (in the Georgian versions - Amiran). And the whole cave is stylized to this myth.

Great and knowledgable guide. I would definitely choose again on a repeat visit. - A pleasant and knowledgeable guide, who was especially interesting, told us about the history and other stories of the places that we visited. Answered all the questions that we had. During the stay, we also booked other tours with guide services, and with this guide, we had the best experience.
