Engage in kayaking (or sometimes a bamboo boat) for 1.5 to 2 hours, navigating through rock arches to explore tunnels and discover Bat Cave and Bright Cave. Enjoy a swim at Ba Trai Dao beach or in Lan Ha Bay, depending on the tide and weather conditions. -
Halong Bay - Continue cruising to Ha Long Bay to admire the stunning landscapes in less crowded areas. Revel in the beauty of hundreds of limestone islands.
12:00 PM: Enjoy lunch on the boat.
Return to Lan Ha Bay via a different route to take in more breathtaking scenery. Swim at another secluded sandy beach.
Arrive back in Cat Ba town between 5:30 - 6:00 PM.

Outstanding day on the water - We had such an amazing time on this trip and squeezed in everything from kayaking through rocks, leaping off the boat for a swim and explore on a nearby beach, see a local fishing farm, to naps, photo opportunities, and chats with the guide and other guests. It was really well paced and we had a fabulous day.

Perfect day trip - We had an amazing tour courtesy of Ninh and Windy, our wonderful guides! We chose the day tour with kayaking, which was such a great way to explore Cat Ba and see Ha Long Bay.
With their itinerary we managed to avoid the busy tourist spots— having the freedom to swim without being surrounded by others and arriving at the row boats before the crowds. We saw lots of other cruises arrive as we left and it look chaotic!
The views were absolutely stunning, especially as the sun began to set. Windy even spotted some Cát Bà Langur’s perched on the rocks and called us all over so we could see them. The trip to the fish farm was really interesting! And the food we had for lunch … honestly, insanely good.
The whole thing was a truly special experience. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting! 🌊

Beautiful day in Lan Ha - The day was great! Thanks to Ninh and Windy for the support and smiles. They brought us to beautiful places and without tourists which is rare!

Amazing Ha Long Bay tour with outstanding guide - I did the one day tour to Ha Long bay including Kayaking, swimming and Fish farm visit. It was such an amazing and relaxing experience. The whole day was very smoothly planed as well. I was picked up at my hotel by a small bus which brought me to the Cat Ba Ventures office where I was handed first a free 1.5L of water bottle. We then moved to the boat harbor by bus and started our tour quite quickly. Toni our guide did his best to explain everything related to the tour and explained also so much during the tour about literally everything. I learned so much about about Lan Ha, Halong Bay and in general about Vietnam. His wealth of experience and knowledge was what made this trip truly memorable. Even when a another passenger was feeling sea sick he immidiately assisted with help bringing water and tea. Can highly recommend this trip, there's plently of activies included and a great guide to make your day a blast!

Good experience! - It was a really nice day, Tony the tour guide was very kind and had lots of stories to tell, the lunch was amazing and we truly were away from the crowds. We saw maybe 3 or 4 boats around us but it didn’t feel like we were taking the touristy route at all :))

A tour that avoids the crowds - I visited this tour with my wife and we had a wonderful day — made even better by our tour guide Ben. We had already done a tour the day before somewhere else, so we had a direct comparison, and Ben truly made the difference. Unlike that experience, we weren’t just picked up and dropped off at point A to B. Ben guided us the whole way, sharing stories about the culture, history, and the area that were as entertaining as they were informative. He answered questions all day long and had a gift for knowing when to share and when to let the moment speak for itself. The activities were engaging, the food on the boat was really good, and the crew’s service went above and beyond. Everything felt well organized and transparent. I highly recommend this tour — and if you get Ben as your guide, even better.
