ACG Provided a Perfect Personalized Experience! - I went on two half-day adventures with Arizona Climbing Guides. On the first day, we went rock climbing, and on the second day, we went repelling. I have never tried either but always wanted to do so. Javen was my guide on both days. He reached out prior to the appointments to go over details and meeting place. He is highly experienced and a very good teacher. He explained everything in detail and was always safety conscious. He provided a helmet and climbing shoes for me to use. With Javen’s coaching and encouragement, I was able to climb to the top of a rock face and repel down multiple drops. Both days were at Windy Point on Mt Lemmon. He was very accommodating and wanted me to do what I wanted and enjoy doing it. By learning about rock climbing first, it was helpful when climbing back up after repelling. I’m 62 and found some of the climbs back to the top challenging, but Javen took it slow and never minded me taking a break. He was always there, ready to offer a hand when needed. Javen was the perfect guide! He even knew about the plant life and took photos!

Pick this tour!!! - I was lucky to get JC as my guide today. To say he was amazing, doesn’t even begin to give him the accolades he deserves. He was patient and encouraging with me. The best experience for a first time outdoor climber! - My niece and I booked the half day rock climbing trip with Arizona Climbing Guides. Our guide was Javan, and he was absolutely amazing. Not only was he very patient with us first timers, but he gave us technical explanations for why he did everything and placed safety first. My niece and I had an absolute blast and we cannot wait to book another trip!

In Javan We Trust - Wonderful adventures for my family! We booked both canyoneering and rock climbing for two separate days of our vacation. We have a 15 year old and 8 year old, and our guide Javan was excellent with them both. He advised us well as to switching our canyoneering and rock climbing days due to weather, and we even turned our canyoneering into another fabulous rock climbing adventure based on his honest description of the challenges, especially with a younger kid.

Highly recommend - Our guide Javan was wonderful and adaptable. Our family of four (boys aged 12 and 15 and 50ish Mom and Dad) had a great time climbing at Saguaro NP. Javan came up with a plan after rain prevented our canyoning trip and snow prevented accessing Mt Lemmon. We still ended up with a great day. Thank you Javan!

Half day climbing experience - My friends and I did a half day guided climbing trip with Jayci and we had a great time! 2 of my friends had never climbed before and Jayci made them feel very comfortable and safe. Highly recommend!
