Surprisingly Great History Museum - We were in town for a concert and wanted to learn more about Tucson. Our hotel gave us a copy of "The Turquoise Trail" map for a historical walking tour of downtown Tucson - and this museum was stop #1 on the trail. We weren't sure what to expect and the museum looks very unassuming (and tiny) when you first walk in - but don't be fooled. We were given an amazing individual tour by our guide, Cindy, that was both informative and entertaining. We were also very surprised to walk thru a door to a courtyard that was a recreation of part of the fort that was originally on the site. We hadn't expected anything on that scale and were really blown away. This is a definite must see for anyone interested in history or the origins of Tucson. Great museum and lovely people.
