Wonderful experience! Radu was fantastic! - We loved everything about this tour! Radu, our tour guide, was incredible! Full of stories and facts about Romania, knowledgeable and courteous. The delta was beautiful and we saw lots of birds, more than we expected. The meal was authentic and plentiful! Highly recommended!

Wonderful nature experience - Excellent guide. Great information about history and current life in Romania. The tour was good but I do not appreciate the demands for longer feedback to complete the review

Awesome experience - The area is truly a natural wonder, with its vast wetlands, lush forests, and abundance of wildlife. Delta is a paradise for bird watchers, with more than 300 species of birds living in the delta. The tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly, and I learned a lot about the area. I would highly recommend a visit to the Danube Delta for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience.

A fantastic experience and opportunity to see the Danube Delta - Our guide and driver, Bogdan, was very friendly and helpful - and keen to ensure we had a good day...which we did! It was a brilliant trip and we were very excited to explore the Danube Delta. The drive there was long (as we expected) but Bogdan was an excellent driver and we had a few stops. Once we arrived, the boat was extremely plush and it was a real treat to be the only people on it. We were a little disappointed not to see more birdlife - perhaps it was the time of year? Some guidance on what you're likely to see in the trip listing might be helpful to people. But the scenery was amazing and we saw a few different birds - and snakes swimming in the water. We had a warm welcome for lunch and it was really interesting to see how people live in the Danube Delta. The food was okay - it was tricky to eat the fish with so many bones, but good to try something new and try authentic Romanian dishes. And I loved meeting the lovely little dog who was living there. Such a happy soul. All in all a wonderful trip! Thank you :)

More birds at home - Our guide was great as far as hotel pick up explaining the history of Romania. Disappointed as far as seeing birds. All the boat operators use the same canal so all the animals go somewhere else. Expensive and long drive from Bucharest. Everyone goes to the same restaurant. Not really a fisherman 's house. Same menu carp, fish, soup. Drinks extra.

Great day - Sebastian Is a wealth of Romain history as a University graduate in history. His prompt pick up at our hotel seperated him from the other guides.

No Pelicans. - Enjoyed the trip but it was a long day. Listed as 6+ hours, it was almost 13. 4 hours each way to and from boat plus 4 hours + on boat/eating lunch. Otherwise a good day even though not all the birds cooperated. Driver/Guide Radu was very knowledgeable of the area and history plus got us there and back safely. His knowledge of birds was not so good. Boat captain Razva was skilled and pleasant to deal with. Lunch was tasty and comfortable.
