Raging Thunder is a first class experience you will never forget. - What a brilliant day. If you want to see some incredible landscapes, breathtaking natural environments, and raft one of Australia's best rivers then join the team at Raging Thunder in Cairns and have a wonderful time. The team support everyone of varing abilities to have a great time, their patience, care and safety-first attitude make them the only choice. Trust me, it's a day you won't forget. We even got lucky and saw a Cussowary in the wild. That should tell you your in a special place! A big call out to our guide Pauly. I have rafted rivers around the world and he is as good as they come. Thanks mate! Modern buses help you get there comfortably and a dinner at a truly iconic cane growers pub is a great way to end the day! This is a must do in Cairns. We had the pleasure of sharing our boat with the 85 year young Stephen. What an inspiration and testimony, Raging Thunder caters to a wide audience of fun loving people. You will love it! Cheers, Simon

Racist apology - Today was a very exciting experience, which left a deep impression on me. Of course, it was only the rafting process. There were a lot of big flies before, during and after the rafting, which bit people very painfully, and the place to change clothes after the rafting was very difficult. But another important point is that I think I was racially discriminated in the restaurant! This made me very angry! It was the very tall woman at the front desk who played the photos. When playing the photos, my friend didn't have the strength to get up to look at the photos, so I took a few photos. She came over and asked me if I bought the photos. I told her that I did, but she said to me in a very arrogant manner, "Hope so." I was very puzzled at the time. I did buy the photos, and I was very happy with the service at first, but she was so arrogant and left! And she only asked me throughout the whole process, but she was very happy to chat with other locals. I think she is a racist. I am very angry and feel discriminated against. I hope she can apologize! And compensate for our mental loss!

A great day trip! - Got picked up from the campsite and had a rep on the bus who was very funny, when we got to the Tully river the team efficiently got us all kitted up and ready to go. our guide was liv, we loved her humour and it was clear she and all of the other guides were very knowledgeable. We had such a great day on the river and was a great experience. Would recommend to anyone visiting cairns or mission beach!

It is definitely a better activity to participate in. - The friendly staff are delightful. Our group was in charge of Keanu, who was fluent in Japanese, and helped two people who were about to be swept away and played a great role. It was a group of 6 people aged 42 to 65, but we enjoyed the impressive River Tully, and there were other groups in their 60s, so people of all ages could enjoy it. It is recommended to gather in swimwear and wear clothes that are easy to put on and take off.

Exhilarating Fun - Our guide Jay was an absolute pleasure and certainly ensured that we had the ultimate fun on the rapids. He kept us entertained with very experienced twists and turns getting the most out of those torrents of water. His sense of humour kept us giggling and his screams underpinned our hysterical squeaks as we wrestled these rapids. The whole excursion was well organised and Paul kept a captivated audience with his safety talks managing to make it fun to listen. The food at the end of the day was fresh and well prepared which left and even more satisfying after taste. This will be a golden memory for us. Thank you Jay and Raging Thunder. 👏🙏❤️

Great day!⭐️ - 10/10!⭐️⭐️ what a day! This was soo much fun, the rapids were great and everything was explained in detail which really helped as a first time rafter. The surroundings were beautiful, the knowledge and experience of Paul really put my mind at rest with the grade four rapids and what was going on around us. Loved jumping from the cliff and the option to occasionally get out to enjoy the views in the calmer waters Would recommend this tour for anyone wanting to do White Water Rafting!

Very exciting and intense not for the feint of heart - Very exciting and filled with action packed turns. There was a guide that fell out which made the experience more hilarious and at the end of the day we were kindly taken to the pub for a relaxing on the house dinner. Very kind of them. Also very funny to see the man who fell out pay all guides beers.
