Chichen itza tour - Emiliano and his crew were great hosts. They explained much of the history of chichen itza and cenote in a way that was entertaining. We kept to a tight schedule. Would have been nice to have more time at chichen itza and skip valladolid .

The tour guides did their best to accommodate everyone! - I honestly highly recommend this company. Executing a tour of that size must be challenging, and I understand that there will always be difficulties, including dealing with difficult tourists from selfish and entitled backgrounds. The tour guides and bus driver did their best to accommodate EVERYONE on board, and I never once felt neglected or ignored. Aside from occasionally waiting around 20 minutes each stop for other tourists to return to the bus and picking up non-tour passengers to drop them off along the way (which I assume is a cultural practice, as we all know Mexicans are very hospitable), nothing else went badly. As a GEN Z I highly recommend this tour to other people my age.

Great tour with lots of good stops! - Rhett was an excellent tour guide! The bus was pretty comfortable and we got to do a lot in one day. We explored Chichen Itza, visited a Mayan-run cooperative for lunch and shopping, swam in the cenote at Selva Maya, and spent time wandering the town of Valladolid. I wish we’d had more time at the cenote, but I understand that there was a lot to fit in!

Experience tour chichen itza - The guide Mr. Victor is a very professional person with extensive knowledge of Mayan culture and history. He knows how to create a pleasant, family atmosphere and interacts constantly with the tourist, making every moment you enjoy the experience of visiting Cancun.

It was a really good day - PRO - good value for the price - lunch included (you can find food as a vegan too) - Very comfortable transport - They provided a lot of information, and we learned a lot about the Mayans. - The atmosphere was great. CONTRA - bad time management - it was a 13 hour program (it could have been done in 8) - they wanted to sell us a lot of products - On the way back, the drop-off order was poorly managed. Instead of dropping off the largest groups first, we made stopsat the hotels in the next city, which prolonged the journey.

Great activities, too much bus & selling - The cenote and tour at chichen itza were all great, and well guided. When getting picked up from Playa Del Carmen, the excursion is closer to 15 hours total than 10-12 due to the out of way pick ups in Tulum (which takes up the first few hours of the day). There’s also a lot of forced gift shop time that’s a bit tiring. If in budget, I’d suggest a private tour that goes more directly

Amazing tour but with some unexpected charges - Our tour to Chichen Itza was an incredible experience! We were family of 4 with two teens. Our guide, Victor, was absolutely amazing—extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and passionate about the history and culture. He made the entire trip engaging and informative. The visit to the cenote was truly unforgettable—a breathtaking and refreshing experience that added so much to the tour. Everything was well-organized, and the day ran smoothly. However, one thing to be aware of—there was an unexpected last-minute charge of $40 per person for State Taxes, which was not mentioned upfront. This was quite unpleasant and should be clearly stated in the tour details on TripAdvisor to avoid surprises. Overall, a fantastic tour!

Really enjoyed this group, when they weren't selling you. - If it weren't for the fact that it seems like a sophisticated sales presentation, I really enjoyed the trip. Make sure you know who you are going to sit next to in the bus. Many miles. But the education on Mayan culture, counting, and math was a very enriching experience as we transported. Our in-house Chichen Itza guide was a former university professor, and made the the experience very rich. The cenote was quite the experience as a "skylight" type, with a waterfall from the ground surface. Super cool. Leading up to the "lunch period" through was an extended sales pitch to buy things from the community they sponsor. That is the only reason for no 5-stars

A Day of Discontent - What a sh**show! Started with no one showing at the designated pickup spot. By accident, able to find alternate pickup area. Departure 2 1/2 hours later after being driven all over town picking up other passengers. Order of events as advertised-1) Chichen itza, 2) Lunch and sightseeing in Valladolid. 3) Swimming at Seytun cenote. Actual order-1) Selva Maya cenote, 2)Mayan cultural village (tourist trap) with lunch, 3) Chichen itza, 4) Brief stop (1/2 hour) in Valladolid. Box lunch promised was a 6 inch Subway sandwich that was mostly just bread. Every stop included incessant hawking of trinkets, souvenirs and elixirs. The coup de gras was another 1-1/2 hours of dropping of every passenger down dark, secluded gated properties on roads under repair before finally being delivered to our meeting point 14 hours after beginning. The meaningful stops too short, instructions confusing, and chaotic. The useless stops were long. The entire day included picking up stray passengers or waiting for two or three stragglers at each stop. Needless to say, I will not be recommending.
