We started in Cancun and finished off the trip in Tulum. We rented a car and drove ourselves around. - The views were absolutely stunning and the locals are friendly and helpful. We went snorkeling with the sea turtles

You have to do this! - Awesome!! This has to be put on your things to do list. I enjoyed the tour but the Cenote was my favorite. Happy birthday to me.

Look for a different tour - Find another tour with direct transportation. We stopped so many times and different hotels, making the trip over three hours before we got to Tulum. The tour tried to upsell us on EVERYTHING. Thirsty? Buy our drink package and if you don’t, they will charge you $3 for water at the restaurant because drinks aren’t included. It was optional, though. They take you to a Mayan village where it “isn’t a tourist destination” but they want you to sell “handmade items” which include Yoda Pipes and a Spiderman sculpture. Not so authentic to me
They only give you an hour to walk three miles at Cobá so you are forced to rent bikes or else you won’t see everything. Everything was rushed and it seemed like we spent more time with transportation than seeing the sites.

Great Tour - This tour was great, as promised. The guides were fun and knowledgeable. I wasn’t expecting so much emphasis on Mayan culture and history - that was a nice surprise. Thanks!

Ruins, Coba, Cenote Tulum, Mexico - Jimmy our guide was great. Explained some Mayan history, interesting facts about the number of steps in the build, representing the phases of the moon, equaling the months of the year. Had a nice time visiting with other people on our tour. Our transportation was a bit mixed up, not clear pick up location. Once that was figured out our trip was smooth.

Excellent Excursion - This is an amazing excursion! Beautiful history at Tulum with breathtaking picture opportunities and the Cenote was out of this world. Guide Pepe was the only disappointment. (Pray for a different guide) Since Coba was closed we visited a Mayan family and learned about their heritage. Bus was very comfortable! A must do trip! Omar was outstanding to communicate with in setting up pick up times through Whats App.

See the ruins, skip the cenote and “village” lunch - Gustavo was an awesome and knowledgeable guide, and both ruin sites were lovely. The “Mayan” Village was underwhelming, with a lackluster and dirty cenote, mediocre food, cheap souvenirs (that were aggressively pushed), a bar that overcharged for drinks that did not contain alcohol. Sun coverage is crucial for the Tulum Ruin!

Average tour - Pros: Convenient way to see both Tulum and Coba ruins. Lunch was good. Cons: Way too much time spent trying to sell tour upgrades and souvenirs!
