Tulum and Cenote Aguas Tortugas Experience - Overall the Tulum tour once at the site was very good, there was no hassle of vendors inside Tulum and the sights and ruins were amazing. Our tour guide Alejandro was knowledgeable about the Mayans and history of Tulum as he was giving us a private guide inside. The food at Frostys which is inside the Tulum area is very tasty and worth the money it’s an extra charge not included in this tour package. The cenote casa tortugas where we went for a swim was really nice too, very spacious and different access points to the cenote, if you don’t want to swim you can just hang out around the cenote and sun bathe or just get your feet wet and they allow it. If you do swim in any cenote in Mexico they always require you to first shower in the side as there are shower heads prior to getting into the cenote, water shoes are permitted in this cenote. Note, the cenote an are pretty deep 10-12feet deep so a life vest is always recommend which u can also rent there at additional charge too. The tour guides especially our driver Rodrigo were accommodating to us in getting us back to our hotel on time as we had the pick up and drop off from hotel option. It’s roughly a 6-7hr tour door to door timing.
