Honeymooners - We had the best time exploring a cenote and swimming with turtles. Sarah was the best cenote tour guide. We are honeymooning and got to go to the cenote just us with Sarah. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and took very good care of us. She even prayed before we entered the cenote, which was a very spiritual experience. Lunch was so good. I would recommend this company many times.

Cenotes and Turtles 🐢 - Great tour for the cenote swim! Make sure you take water shoes and cover all your electronics. It’s worth capturing the moment. Lots of fun! I would give a 5 star, but I think the waiting game for the tourist trucks to pick you up from place to place took a toll on the adventure. Definitely would recommend!

Confusing Itinerary, Worth the Cost - Overall, this experience was nice. Communication about an itinerary was very limited and we had no idea we'd be swimming through a completely underground cenote, or even how many stops there were. The first stop at the first cenote was not necessary and the water was so shallow and cold that swimming was not an option. Another tour company handles the snorkeling part after being bussed up to Akumal. The snorkeling was hectic and very crowded. Sarah was our tour guide for the majority of the trip and she was amazing. The provided lunch was also delicious.

Rough seas...no turtles to see - This wasn't good but it wasn't horrible either. The first part of this was going to the sanctuary to do some snorkeling with the sea turtles. I was so excited about doing this, but was a little nervous because it was extremely rough waters, but I figured there's a ton of people out there in the water so they must be seeing something. Nope! I was wrong! We had 12 in our group of friends...after 5 minutes in the water 9 of them turned back around because the waves were so rough. I kept going and regretted it. The waves were so rough that I actually had to stop and throw up. Because the sea was so rough the water was so murky that you couldn't see anything if you wanted to. I turned around and went back completely disappointed. I know that they're making money and aren't in the business of giving refunds, but seriously...if the water is so rough that people can't swim all the way out to where the turtles might possibly be, then call the damn thing off! This is the second excursion experience I've had where the waters were so rough that it should've been called off and weren't. After the horrible snorkeling experience we were driven over to the Cenotes. They were definitely cool to see and swim in. However the place was mobbed! You could barely swim around in the water because there were so many people around. We were given 45 minutes to enjoy the Cenotes. We took advantage of the life jackets that were offered so that we didn't need to work as hard to swim as we did for the snorkeling experience. I did my research into this excursion prior to booking it and it seemed to have really good reviews. The tour company also seemed to have good reviews as well. There's good and bad to everything, and maybe it's just this time of year that the seas are so rough, but again when the conditions are that bad they should just modify the tour.

No Turtles - There was no fish or turtles to see on this tour. The water was very rough at the turtle bay and most of our group couldn't even get out there. Those who did regretted it as they were exhausted and saw no fish/turtles or wildlife at all. Don't offer tour when weather conditions are not good. The guides offered no apologies and in fact laughed at us for turning back half way. We have snorkeled many times and this was terrible. The cenote experience was good.

Extremely Disappointing - This was an awful tour. We had signed up for snorkeling with turtles and cenotes and got and the first 2 hours was a tour of the ruins!! We had no interest in doing the ruins and it was our last day in Mexico so we were hoping to get back no later than 2pm. It was 11:30 before they were planning to leave to go to the turtles (we were picked up at 9:30am) so we ended up leaving early to go back to our hotel. Extremely disappointed. We thought we were on the wrong tour but this definitely was the right one since our name was on the attendance list from the tour guide.

A long long day - I registered for a this 4-hour trip and they booked my 3 kids and I to a full day trip. It could have been nice but it was terrible. We spent at least 4h at the back of a van either waiting or driving so fast that We felt unsafe. The lunch food was really bad- I was sick the day after. The cenote was great but we spent 20 min there and then 20 min waiting for the van because other groups were waiting to get in. Same for the snorkeling, we only had 30 min including the boat ride. We saw 2 turtles attracted by some food from the guide. There was also more than 30 people on the same spot… I do not recommend this trip or others organized by Maya Adrenaline Tulum.
