Coba Ruins, Cenote and Mayan Village - Neto and Augustine epic tour guides and worthwhile experience. Never felt rushed felt totally comfortable with the pace and the detailed information provided Bring etc cash for Mayan stop to buy amazing gifts in the form of onyx, obsidian, natural honey and other handmade items. This is a great tour that can support the Mayan people. Yellow bands are available to purchase to get a life jacket, unlimited soft drinks, water, beer and Tequila. Cenote - Chikin Ha is a beautiful Cenote with several high jumps into the water great fun.

Excellent - Jimmy and his team were great. Both ruins were amazing and the cenote was beautiful. Recommend bringing a towel and change of clothes.

Mayan ruins, buffet lunch and cenote swim - After being in the sun at the Mayan ruins, swimming in the cenote was a welcome relief. The buffet at the restaurant was better than I expected. Also, pay the 'extra' for the platinum package, about US$ 16. It gave you an extra drink that was thankfully ice cold and allowed you to have a guide pedal the tricycle at the Coba ruins.

Terrible due to guides, not the Mayan ruins - Booked an English tour guide for this trip with Viator, through Tripadvisor.. Coach was 45 minutes late, then the guide started to speak in Spanish. There was a second guide with limited English. The Spanish guide would talk for 10 minutes and we would get one line of a translation. Guides also tried to overcharge us for the Tulum tourist tax, which is a common scam. Had to wait for over 30 minutes at Tulum as the guides hadn't got any tickets yet, then at Coba they didn't even accompany us to the ruins, just took us inside the gates and left us, so again no information was provided. Extremely poor tour and both Viator and Tripadvisor have both been unhelpful in resolving this issue.

Worst tour imaginable - Coach was 45 minutes late. The main guide didn't speak English and the assistant spoke very poor English. They tried to overcharge us on the tax we had to pay. Gave very little information at Tulum and didn't even accompany us at Coba so we got no information at all. At the cenote, despite signs saying no smoking the guide smoked away, which looked very unprofessional. We got no information throughout the day as it was all in Spanish, despite us booking an English tour. We regret booking with Viatours.
