Wonderful Tulum and Cenote Experience - Victor is a safe, efficient driver and our guide, Sandro, is informative and fun! Sandro did a great job explaining Mayan culture and history. Also visited a beautiful Cenote and swam in the refreshing water. Wonderful trip!

The best day in Tulum. - Martin was an excellent guide. He know so much Mayan history. The best part of the trip was due to a change in seeing the Tulum ruins first. We went to the Cenotes first and had the place to ourselves. The water was crisp and clear with no other people around. Tulum was warm but amazing. Take plenty of water. Martin knew so many people along the way. At the end of the tour we sat in the cafe and ate tacos with cold beers! The day was perfect!

Tulum itself was picturesque on the Cliffside by the sea. Wear good footwear for walking for sure. Don't forget your swimsuit either!
The Cenote experience was also not one to be missed. I have to say also that if you are lucky enough to get Bus 34 with Martin as your guide you won't ever forget the ride back. We all need a little music in our soul!!

Sandro is the best! - We really enjoyed how informational the tour was at Tulum. So interesting! Sandro was great and really told a story with all of the Mayan facts. We appreciate him! The Cenote swim was also so great and refreshing. Perfect way to end the tour. The bus ride home was longer than expected, but it was because of things out of the tour operators’ control. Overall, would recommend!

Great day, but could be better - Great air conditioned, comfortable bus, but it arrived 45 mins late. Guide was a lot of fun, but talked too much - we would have preferred to explore a bit more on our own. We wouldn’t have picked the cenote we went to (Nohoch), because it doesn’t look great in photos. Needed to pay extra for compulsory life jackets. Nohoch cenote is a waste of time unless you have a waterproof flashlight (which we did not). Luckily we tagged behind a tour where the guide had a flashlight. That made it awesome as you can swim deep into the darkness. We would have missed this if we hadn’t bumped into this other tour group. Great honey tasting on the bus on the way home and lots of fun with our guide. It just could have been a little better overall.

Longtrip - The tour in itself was not bad but it was supposed to be a half day tour and instead we were picked up at 7 am and returned to the hotel at 6:30 pm! The reason was that it took so long to pick up and bring back the people from different hotels. I think they should be more organized with their pick up. Also it said we could choose to go swimming on the beach at Tulum but that was never mentioned and instead we were given time to eat and shop. I was very upset that we lost half a day just being on the bus.

Absolutely inadequate guide- had no knowledge of any kind, unfriendly, rough, totally unpleasant experience - Our guide, José Carlos, was the most unfriendly guy I have ever met at about 30 or 35 Viator tours I had booked so far. No kind word, no explanation of the sites. He knew ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about anything. Gave us 3 hours (!) in Tulum where there is not so much to see, left us at the entrance after "explaining" one of the ruins ("this is a house. It had a roof") with the words: "I am here every day, I do not have to go there" and spent his time sitting in the bar where we later foumnd him with a drink. How can such a guy do tours with tourists? Unbelievable experience!
