Awe inspiring - Fernando and Ricardo were our guides, and we're absolutely wonderful. There was a little confusion about what time we were being picked up from our resort, but once that was squared away, we had a wonderful time. We stopped and were blessed by a Mayan Shaman, and given time to browse around the shop there. We then went to the ruins where we were given the option to explore on our own, or stay with the guide. When finished, we had 30 minutes of free time where Fernando recommended a place to eat lunch. We then went over to Akumel to snorkel with the turtles. Do not bring fins if you have them, because you aren't able to use them, but they will supply life vests and masks and snorkels if you need them. This area was a little crowded with people, but still able to see the beautiful creatures.
