A highlight of our trip - My friends and I were staying in Tulum for a weekend and were able to find this place during our trip. It was worth it to pay a bit extra for a private tour with our group of 6. Elio is a fantastic guide and gave a lot of incredible information about the cenotes during our tour. All in all great experience!

If it sounds too good to be true… - Beware. Trip was not as described. They made it sound like pickup was offered at our hotel, it wasn’t and the customer service agent was rude and said I “misunderstood”. We had to take a taxi to a supermarket for pickup. The driver was 30 minutes late. The tour did not start at the Cenotes as described, after a bathroom stop, we were dropped off at the Tulum Archeological site in our swimsuits at the hottest time of the day, then we went to the Cenotes. The provided snack was a bologna sandwich which was soggy and we did not eat. The Cenotes were the best part of the trip because we had a delightful guide who worked at Casa Tortuga named Mario. After we went to a restaurant in Akumal for late lunch. It was a really good fish dinner and enjoyable. After, we were dropped at Playa del Carmen which was ok, just not our scene. Highly recommend you just take a cab to these destinations rather than book this excursion through Altus Travel and Tours.
