We visit the site in the morning, right when it opens at 9 am, so we won’t be swamped with tourists. The Mayan Ruins in Tulum are a magnificent seaport fortress built on a steep ocean cliff. While walking around the ruins, you can also see iguanas and coatis (an animal similar to a raccoon).
- Cenote Taak Bi Ha - The underground cenote Taak Bi Ha is situated in the Parque Dos Ojos and is especially suitable for a great snorkeling and diving experience. With crystal-clear waters and spectacular rock formations, it is incredibly beautiful and surrounded by the Mexican jungle.
- Akumal Beach - Guided snorkeling with turtles at Akumal Bay to search for 3 of the world’s 7 sea turtle species and explore the 2nd largest barrier reef in the World.

Private tour to Tulum and Cenote - We did a half day tour to Tulum and a cenote with Ivan and Dennis as our guides. Pick up was on time at 7:00 in a nice SUV. We arrived at Tulum at opening and were able to tour without any crowds. Ivan did a great job of explaining the history of Tulum and the Mayan people, making it interesting for our 2 kids. They then took us to an underground cenote which was absolutely beautiful. We were able to swim in the clearest water I have ever seen. Ivan took pictures for us all day so we could enjoy the scenery. We requested lunch after the cenote and we stopped at a small taco restaurant and had some delicious tacos with the guides. The entire day was well organized, on time and the guides did an excellent job. We would absolutely recommend Tours With Mike if you are looking for a private tour.

Tulum tour - Our guide arrived promptly on time to our lobby to pick us up. We rode in a very clean car with good ac. Our guide Everett was amazing the ride to tulum went by so fast as we chatted about Mayan culture and Mexican traditions. He took us on a tour of tulum and took photos for me and my wife so we could just enjoy the ruins and take it all in. He answered all questions we had and let us go at our own pace.
The cenote was amazing that we went to, they provided snorkel gear, lights, and even a water camera box that aallowd us to take pictures in the water.
100% would recommend and use again.

Best day!! - Our tour with Denis and Ivan was so much better than we could have expected! They were prompt to pick us up at our hotel, jetted us off to Tulum, Ivan took us around and told us about the ruins and took SO many photos for us! ❤️ The cenote was beautiful (chilly water!) and we got to see some scuba divers disappear into the underwater caves. (Lots more photos here!) swimming with turtles was spectacular!! We saw so many along with fish and rays. (A TON of photos here!!)
We requested a stop at a local taco restaurant where we treated our guides to lunch and it was delicious!!! We would book with Tours with Mike again!!

A Perfect Day in Tulum with Tours with Mike - Our recent private tour with Tours with Mike was an absolute dream. Our guides, Ivan and Dennis, were exceptional. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience.
We started our day at the stunning Tulum ruins. Ivan's captivating storytelling brought history to life, and his expertise made the visit even more enriching. Afterwards, we headed to Playa Paraíso, a breathtaking Caribbean beach. We spent some time swimming in the crystal-clear waters and relaxing at a charming beach club.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the snorkeling excursion in a hidden cenote. The underwater world was mesmerizing, and Ivan's guidance made the experience even more special.
The entire day was perfectly planned, and Ivan and Dennis were always attentive to our needs. They accommodated our special requests and made sure we felt comfortable and safe throughout the tour.
If you're looking for a personalized and unforgettable Tulum experience, I highly recommend Tours with Mike. It was truly the best day of our trip.

Beautiful Day of Swimming and Ruins - Ivan and Dennis were amazing hosts! They picked my entire family of 10 adults up directly from our hotel at the agreed upon time. They were very friendly and ensured our entire group had a great day filled with laughs and memories! Ivan is very knowledgeable about the ruins and area that we toured. We began our day exploring Tulum ruins and then went swimming in a nearby cenote where we jumped into crystal clear waters! Swimming with turtles was also a highlight of the day. We saw plenty of turtles, sting rays, and a puffer fish! They even offered to take us to a local taco hut for lunch! I highly recommend utilizing Tours with Mike and requesting Ivan and Dennis!

Ivan and Dennis are the Best! - Went with Ivan and Dennis on a 3 part full day excursion and it was amazing!!! They were on time, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Ivan took us on a tour of Tulum and was very well informed. Then we experienced the Cenote and swimming with sea turtles! Ivan did a great job at taking pictures and helping us create memories! I definitely would book with this company again.
