The right guide made this a great experience!! - We were fortunate to have Ricardo as our guide. He goes out of his way to give you a personalized and fun experience. His “no rush” take your time approach, and his knowledge of the culture and the area make the trip more enjoyable. We started off at the cenote where he was patient with my wife who has a phobia of water. He took a buoy and helped my wife snorkel the entire cenote… really going the extra mile. From there we got on electric scooters and toured the town and saw a historic Mayan church and a nearby significant cemetery (from the outside). We continued to the reef where we went snorkeling. The independent snorkeling crew weren’t the best at being patient with my wife, but Ricardo tried his best to ask them to be slow with her. Net-net the trip exceeded our expectations, but what made it extra special was our tour guide Ricardo!! Cheers! Danny and Kristina

True local guides sharing the beauty of casa cenote and coral reef - Ricardo and Paco our guides were absolutely fantastic!! If you are considering booking this trip absolutely do you will not regret it!! Ricardo picked us up from our hotel and brought us to the office then dropped us back at our hotel at the end of the trip. He even helped us out getting Tulums BEST coffee located on the corner of the road outside the office / meeting point. We snorkelled the cenote and my goodness it was incredible the clearest water ever.. then we had the best Mexican sandwich before heading out to swim the reef.. seeing the corals, so many amazing fish and even a stingray was a dream come true! Then Ricardo even let us swim back to shore rather than wait on the boat. Both Ricardo and Paco were so knowledgable sharing so much information about Tulum and even Mayan history. Highly recommend!!

Memorable trip - Our guide Ricardo was excellent! Went above and beyond for us. Snorkeling in the ocean was super cool. Water was visible but we didn’t see any sea turtles, either way we enjoyed it. Snorting the cenote was way cooler because of the rocks, caves and Panchita the alligator.we had a blast and it felt like an adventure

The James Bond’s of Tulum! - My favorite part of the whole experience was getting to know our tour guide Ricardo. He was such an attentive and easy going guide. He always made sure to keep us all safe and within his eye sight. We went to a cenote on atvs, then had an awesome time riding our e-bikes to the beach for snorkeling with rays and turtles. I really enjoyed getting to know Ricardo and the awesome time he showed us.

Memorable trip - Tour was so much fun. Starting with the Casa cenote where we saw a lot of baby fish in the mangroves. Next we rode an Ebike at a very comfortable pace to a snorkeling place by Tulum. Viewed many stingrays and a couple of turtles. Ended the tour with some great Mexican cuisine. Gracias Ricardo for a very memorable and fun time.

Great excursion, snorkeling experience helpful. - My husband and I are retirees and took our adult children to Mexico for a family trip. We took this excursion and felt that it was well organized, Victor, our guide, was great. The cenote was beautiful, Tulum was amazing. It was a fair hike to get from the drop off to the actual ruins and we wished we had taken advantage of the offered umbrellas to protect from the sun and heat. The snorkeling bay is beautiful but there was minimal instruction on how to snorkel and only one of our group had any experience. She saw turtles and loved it! They gave us masks and life vests, had us climb in the boat, go about 100 yards off shore, take a deep breath and jump in. I’m not complaining, it was just a little too much for the rest of us so we sat it out. My comments are an FYI for others looking into the excursion. It was a great and tiring day!

Snorkeling and tortas! - We had an amazing day with Ricardo as our guide! We started with snorkeling at Casa Cenote which was absolutely amazing, we got to see lots of fish and even Panchita, the young crocodile who lives in the cenote, sunbathing on the shore. Then we headed back to town for a delicious torta lunch at Ricardo’s favorite local spot, Taqueria Honorio. This was honestly one of my favorite meals of my entire Tulum trip. We rode e-bikes after to the beach and went with different guides out on the ocean to see the Tulum Ruins from sea and snorkeled with turtles and sting rays. This was the only part of the day that felt slightly rushed and too short, especially after Ricardo had let us take our time in the cenote and were able to take everything in. All in all, it was a wonderful day spent snorkeling, biking, and eating! We loved the e-bikes so much we ended up renting them for the next day to get around town, highly recommend. Thank you Ricardo!

Fun day in Tulum - This was a great experience in Tulum. Our guide Paco was the best! We took scooters to the cenote and back and then took e-bikes to the beach to snorkel with rays and turtles. There weren’t a lot of colorful fish as I had expected for a reef, but the turtles were plentiful and amazing! Paco kept us safe and was a wealth of information and entertainment.

So disappointed - So disappointed by this experience. Four main reasons: you have to wear a life jacket to snorkel in the ocean, so you can only look into the water from the surface, they feed the fish, which they are not supposed to, the visibility really isn’t great (on a perfectly bright day), the experience out in the ocean only lasted approx 10-15min. Don’t waste your money go snorkelling in another part of the world.
