Fascinating History of Carthage and the lovely neighborhood of Sidi Bou Said. - Carthage has a rich and fascinating history. While the ruins here tend to be spread out and not restored, they are everywhere. Recommend a guide to make sense of it all. While Sidi Bou Said has a bit of a tourist trap feel, it’s popular for a reason, with beautiful white washed homes in blue trim, draped in bougainvillea and the whole thing perched on a high bluff overlooking the Mediterranean.

Awesome tour guide and tour - This tour was amazing and included all the entry fees. We had a private driver and tour guide. Our guide was Sherif. He was 83 years old but so knowledgeable and well spoken. He is fluent in 5 languages. We loved our day and our visit in Tunis. The Roman baths were incredible!

Perfect half day tour - Thank you, your guide Fawzi and driver Adam! Fawzi was extremely informative on our half day tour of Carthage / Sidi Bou Said, I think he could’ve spoken to us all day about the history of his country. His English was excellent and was very careful and attentive with my wife and her needs (she is five months pregnant). He also gave us a lot of tips and recommendations for things to see and look for in the Medina which we explored without a tour guide. Also, the car was perfect and driver always ready for us. Highly recommend this tour experience for a quick, informative and flexible tour of this beautiful city and ruins.

Run away from this scam! - Sidi bou said is more than overrated: everything is extreme and artificial. You come out disgusted by this ubiquitous, unnatural blue. As a bonus, the village is invaded by hordes of disrespectful tourists and managed by a municipality unable to operate the parking meters but more quick to punish foreigners guilty of not using an out-of-service parking meter.
