A must do if you are in Turin ! - Event if it was rainy, we spend a very enjoyable afternoon in Turin: the group was small and very funny, with some people from United States, UK and Mexico and it was very nice to share stories and experiences with these people, the passion for Italian food and wine immediately created a great bond between us. We tried some local and artisanal chocolate shops, truly delicious. We concluded, after walking through the streets of Turin, where the guide showed us the major historical attractions of the city. with a fabulous tasting of regional wines with excellent cured meats and cheeses. The guide was really nice and very knowledgable about history, food and wine. Highly Recommended!.

Perfect Chocolate Tour in Torino, Italy! - Fabio was an absolutely fantastic tour guide for us. What better way to spend your vacation than learning all about the birthplace of chocolate and the history behind it. You will be amazed to learn all the amazing ways they make chocolate and all the origins it can come from, all the ways they harvest it, grow it and produce it, it is absolutely fascinating information to learn about and not information I think the average person even considers until they hear all there is to learn about chocolate! Our final destination was a beau shop named Chocolate7, The store owner Giovanni, is a walking encyclopedia expert about everything chocolate. You will not find a more kind and generous man in Torino as you will in Giovanni. Truly, this tour was one of the best memories we made while here in Torino. Please book before you miss a reservation!

A taste of Turin... and chocolate!!! - Tour started with a traditional Bicerin on the Piazza San Carlo, which is about as Turin as you can get. From there we headed to two different chocolatiers, with a tasting of fine chocolates of the world a genuinely unique experience, before finishing up with a regional wine tasting accompanied by cold meats and regional cheeses. Our guide Fabio was enthusiastic and knowledgeable throughout, and fluent in translating the local foodies we visited into English. He was also willing to recommend other places to eat while you stay in Turin, and even make bookings on your behalf if your Italian is rusty. We went with a morning start (10.30am) so coffee followed by lots of chocolate followed by wine, breads, meat and cheeses left us full for the day and ready to face an afternoon of sightseeing. Overall, a really good experience, and something different given the strong emphasis on connoisseur chocolate.

Highly recommended for chocolate lovers! - In June, we enjoyed a fantastic chocolate tour in Turin with Slow Travel. We were lucky to be the only ones on our tour, allowing us to interact closely with our very nice and knowledgeable guide. The variety of chocolates we tasted was impressive, and the highlight was definitely the Bicerin, a delicious local specialty. Highly recommended for chocolate lovers!

We had a nice tour guide... - We had a nice tour guide who took us to 3 places; two chocolate shops and a restaurant. The only great part of the tour was meeting the other people on the tour. Otherwise, just Google chocolate shops and you'll get the same experience walking around.
