Sampling a selection of traditional chocolates like Gianduiotto, Cremino and a seasonal praline. Gianduitto name comes from Gianduja: made by blending finely ground hazelnuts with chocolate, typically milk chocolate, to create a smooth and indulgent treat. It’s a recipe originating from Turin, the capital of Italy’s Piedmont region.
Gianduja has a fascinating history dating back to the 19th century when cocoa was scarce and expensive.
The chocolate tasting with continue to try premium dark made with Criollo cocoa. Criollo represents only 10% of the global cocoa production. The live guide will explains stories around each of the tasted food and share recipes and odds.
