The Greatest Adventure in CR! - My wife and I had taken the Canyoning tour with Explornature 7 years ago on our honeymoon and knew it was a must stop again on our return trip. From the warm the welcome by Walter to the thoughtful tour led by Eric and his right hand man Chris, their passion to share flora and fauna along our journey was impeccable. It was easy to see they loved educating their guests. They were first and foremost about our safety and at one point my wife was in need along the suspension bridge and they immediately came to her rescue, by gently reassuring her and assisting her to the finish. They helped us spot a few sloths too. Upon completion we were treated to a wonderful Caribbean chicken dish that was beautifully prepared. Eric is an expert level canyoning guide that is also a part of a canyoning rescue team so you will be in good hands. This is always favorite adventure in CR!

Little adventure - We really enjoyed it, you climb waterfalls down through the water and do ziplining. The falls are not for the faint-hearted and you should be a bit sporty. The ziplining was great, the waterfalls were very adventurous for me numbers 2 and 4 a bit too much, but my husband loved it. And all in all we had a wonderful time, all tour guides were very nice.

A Varied, Great Experience - My 3 grandkids, 20, 17, and 15, went on the hike to the waterfalls, rappelling down them, crossing the rope bridge, and zip lining. Their legs were a bit banged up, but they had a great time! They happily chatted about their experience all afternoon! They were surprised at how strenuous the hike was and how much upper body strength they needed and all 3 of them are athletic and work out at the school gym, but they were exhilarated and proud of themselves. They would certainly recommend this tour!

Outstanding rapelling and zipline experience with amazing guides and gorgeous nature - Our tour was outstanding. The guides Eric and Christian were 10/10: energetic, encouraging, full of knowledge and patience. They made the experience an absolute blast for both kids and parents. The nature sightings (sloth, toucan, rainforest, etc) were beautiful. The experience was challenging enough but not too hard to feel impossible. It will definitely be a family memory for a lifetime.

Ecotourism class learns from Explornatura - Explornatura organized a 9 day itinerary for our group of 13 ecotourism students from Western Carolina University. We did canopy tours, zip lining, rafting, kayaking, food and market tours, hiked the Turriabla volcano, home-stays, horseback riding, volcano/ant farm/butterfly/sugarcane/nature preserve tours, and visited with tourism officials. Everything went perfect! There was constant communication and professionalism. Even more importantly, the trips we did were all impactful in their own individual ways. Amazing Custom Itinerary for University Ecotourism Course - It is hard to put into words how amazing our 10-day trip in Costa Rica was with Explornatura. From the multiple meetings to design the course to the careful attention given to every aspect of our experience while in Costa Rica - their customer service is exceptional. We had 13 university students and two professors on a 9-day course exploring ecotourism in Costa Rica. Activities included walking tour of San Jose, meeting with the ICT staff, canyoneering and canopy tour in Turrialba at Explornatura, lodging for part of our stay at their Bamboo Lodges, introduction to kayaking, whitewater rafting on the Pacuare River, cultural immersion in Mollejones including homestays, nature exploration day hike and night hike at Tirimbina and staying at the Tirimbina Ecolodge and more. We hope to be back with more students! Thanks to Explornatura, their staff and the guides they contracted with. We have been taking students on travel courses for over 40 years and this was one of the best!

BEST WEEK EVER - I was completely blown away by this trip. The guides were so welcoming and were so passionate about CR. Amazing canopying! - This is so amazing! Highly recommended, I was traveling solo and felt genuinely cared during the canopy! The view was amazing and the zipline is pretty cool!

Mental health and life...!!! - It was an unforgettable and incredible experience... The treatment of the guides was super good... The tour was very fun.. Nice.. A lot of security and patience..
