Just do it! - I have only been rafting once or twice as a kid in the Poconos, but my husband has been several times in his adult life, so he was able to compare rafting down the Pacuare with Adrenalina Rafting against previous experiences, and he said this was the best rafting trip he has ever done. Our guide Ariel directed us to sit in the very front, and we got tons of splashes, went through the rapids in all different directions, and just generally had an absolute blast. He also offered different levels of intensity (our group went with max intensity every time), which would be great if you want to take a break. The river itself offers some great class IV rapids along with the usual class II and III. In addition, we saw tons of wildlife, got to swim in the slot canyon, went under a waterfall, and jumped off some rocks into the water. Overall, a don't-miss opportunity. Sign up!!!!

Great! - Excellent day with the Manfred team and especially our Guide Ariel. We really had a lot of fun safely. Everything was very well organized. We were picked up and brought back to our Pension, comfortable. Be careful not to forget river shoes or sneakers to put in the water. There are shops in Turrialba but with 45 max in size. Sensations and laughs assured, to do absolutely.

“The Best Time Ever” - My 3 grandchildren, ages 20, 17, and 15 went on this trip and had a great time. They were exhilarated and exhausted when I picked them up in the late afternoon, and talked about their “best time ever” all through dinner. They thought their guide was “the best”, the lunch was “really good”, and enjoyed the down time swimming. Judging by their superlatives, I would highly recommend this trip!

Rafting rio Pacuare - Great experience to do with family!! Ariel and Jefferson (Jeppe) looked after us very well. Very professional!! We felt safe, despite it being our first rafting. Rio Pacuare is very beautiful. We highly recommend it!!

Sequence emotions! - Superb rafting experience. Super competent equipment and coaching. A quick but effective briefing and 24 km of non-stop descent amidst sumptuous landscapes. Very technical passages but perfectly mastered by our guide who will leave us unforgettable memories! The watermelon stop, pineapple mid-term very appreciated as well as the Costa Rican meal on arrival. And as a souvenir, if we wish, very beautiful photos of this descent.

Great descent! - Roberto and his son who followed in kayaking are very professional: safety management (weather, water level) and knowledge of the terrain. The descent of the river is beautiful and bonus toucans, kingfishers and strawberry frogs. All this in a good mood!

My best friend and our sons had an amazing trip, and it was undoubtedly the highlight of our time in Costa Rica. Our guide was exceptional, ensuring we hit all the right spots to fully experience the rapids. The company is top-notch, with Manfred providing excellent communication throughout. The team is honest, friendly, and truly dedicated to giving their guests an unforgettable adventure. Everyone should experience this trip. Unforgettable family experience! Awesome guides! A++++ - Our van driver/chef Manfred went out of his way to pick us up from our AirBnB in Tuis, and drove us to the rafting location. He was very friendly and shared a lot of recommendations for our short visit to Costa Rica. Our rafting guide, Ariel, was super friendly, witty & made us feel safe even though this had been our family’s first time white water rafting. When we told them that we had come to learn Spanish at a nearby school, I was glad that they didn’t just speak to us in English but helped us pick up new vocabulary including the commands for forward (adelante), backward (atrás), and stop (alto). This was a great bonding experience that was capped off with a homemade lunch of gallo pinto, salad and chicken with pineapple water. We also enjoyed seeing the pictures that their crew took and there was no pressure to buy it - although it was super affordable (compared to what you might pay at a theme park like Disney World). The whole trip was laid back, and well worth the cost. And the highlight had to have been the opportunity to swim in the river in a gorgeous area where the river gets narrow and so picturesque. We also weren’t bothered by bugs but sunscreen was definitely a must have (especially for those with fairer skin). We got to go on the first full day of our visit to Costa Rica and we were still talking about it after the trip concluded. Don’t hesitate to book!
