Dong Van - Continue through the majestic pine forest to explore a Hmong palace, once owned by the influential Vuong family. This palace, notorious for storing opium and weapons, offers insight into the life of Hmong royalty from a bygone era. After independence, the palace was vacated in 1950, and the family’s descendants now reside in France and Canada. Proceed along the winding roads, where many black H’mong villages are nestled behind stone walls, arriving in Dong Van around 18:00. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight in a hotel.
