- Taichung Wanhe Temple - Wanhe Temple, also referred to as Litoudian Shengmu Temple, was established in 1684 and holds the distinction of being the oldest temple in Taichung City. Its name originates from “Litoudian Street” (now known as Nantun District), a former hub for stores specializing in agricultural tools like plows. The temple is devoted to the Meizhou Heavenly Holy Mother (commonly known as Mazu or Laodama) and is recognized as one of the four major Mazu temples in Taichung City.
- 2nd Market - Second Market, inaugurated in November 1917, is situated at Xinfu Town, 3rd Street, Taichung City (currently enclosed by Zhongzheng Road, Taiwan Boulevard, Zhongshan Road, and Xingzhong Street in the Central District). This location earned it the name Xinfu Town Market. The main building features a three-wing radial design, similar to the First Market, and was constructed at a cost of 39,000 yen at the time. In addition to the main building, there were simple shops on the exterior, along with fish and vegetable wholesale markets. As it was the second consumer market developed by Taichung City, it is also referred to as the Second Market.
