Hannah the hero - Hannah was a saint, we felt so safe with her at the helm. Wouldn’t want anyone else to captain our ship! Thanks to the Tipsy Cow!

Awful ! - Awful! The first bike turned up with a driver who looked like he had come straight from a heavy night, we pointed out it had a flat tyre. Regardless we set off and couldn't even make it up the hill, so this bike was abandoned and another bike "this one's worse than that one " was pulled out of the garage. The second bike was almost impossible to peddle ( 10 physically fit lads ) the seats couldn't be adjusted and some pointed at an angle. We went round the block and ended up pushing it home ! We complained and got nothing but abuse not even an apology. Real shame as Newcastle is so friendly and fun, this took the edge off. Asked to a refund got told where to go and threatened with legal action!! given we left the beer on board that's pretty poor in my opinion. Buyer beware!!

Terrible service- do not book! - Terrible service, do not book! We booked this for a stag do activity. We got on to the first bike and started pedalling. The bike wasn’t going anywhere. We then realised there was a flat or punctured rear right tyre. We then moved to another bike and this was worse than the first bike which says a lot. The pedals had no resistance which made it virtually impossible to move the bike. We then took it in turns to push the bike at the back. This was extremely dangerous as we were on a busy road. The man controlling the bike also made the experience a dangerous one. He was either drunk or recovering from a big night out the night before. I would have liked to have given this 0 stars but I was not able to. If you don’t want to get robbed of £500, please don’t book with this company.

Awful - farcical - disgraceful - Have to give it 1 star as 0 wasnt an option. Farcical, bike had a flat tyre and was unusable, they then brought out a 2nd bike which was somehow worse than the 1st bike provided, gears had no resistance and you actually had to get a serious sweat on to get it above 1 mile an hour. We travelled less than 0.5 miles and ended up physically PUSHING it back. Disgraceful customer service and quality of products for the price. DO NOT USE

Shambles of a company - Terrible experience! Considering it’s called a beer bike you have thought it would move. Before boarding the bike we informed the guide there was a flat tyre. His response “it was fine yesterday”. Being surprised at the response we attempted to give it a go. To the groups shock and surprised faces we couldn’t believe we had made it a whole 3meters. Quite a few of us were amazed we made it that far. With the bar owner suggesting to the guide we should try the other bike we over heard a response of “if they can’t ride this they won’t be able to ride that”. With the majority of the group deflated just the tyre on the first bike, we gave the 2nd bike a chance. Well let’s just say it is desperate need of some serious TLC. - single gear- no resistance- broken seats- uncomfortable to name a few reasons. Giving it our best efforts 3 people from our group had to push it for 1/4 of a mile back to base as we couldn’t take anymore and requested to go back after spending all of 10 minutes on the bike. Once we got back we told the guide this is unacceptable for how much we have spent and wanted a refund. The guide who was clearly nursing a hangover from the night before wanted nothing to do with it. After what seemed like talking to a brick wall we left and took things up with the owner who clearly doesn’t think there’s any thing wrong and is refusing to give us a refund. Shambles of a company!!!!
