Brilliant trip - Brilliant trip despite the rain. Josh was a very informative guide and kept us interested. Adam was a brilliant driver, goodness knows how he got the bus around some of the corners. Scenery was beautiful on the coastal part of the tour. Playing clips of Vera on the bus TV was a great idea and gave context to the locations. Thoroughly recommend this trip for any Vera fan, thank you!

Great Vera Tour - Our guide Josh was fantastic. He is very knowledgeable about Newcastle and the surrounding areas. His sense of humour made the tour even more enjoyable. The driver Paul was great. The tour was overall amazing for Vera fans as it covers quite a few locations and Josh presented loads of interesting facts. My partner is not a huge Vera fan but he enjoyed the tour too as we passed by some picturesque locations and Josh told us trivia not only about Vera but also about Newcastle and the other areas we visited.

Great coverage of series sites - Good coverage of scenes in the Vera series, with video replays to jog our memories. Also served as a good intro to local Newcastle sites. The coach was also very comfortable.

Absolutely Fantastic - Great for Non Vera Watchers Also as lots of Info About The North East - We had a gift for a half day Vera tour. Our guide was the incredibly enthusiastic Fran and in capable safe hands with driver Bryn. I would say to anyone who hasn't watched Vera this is also a good tour for you as there is lots of information about the locality also not relating to Vera. History of Newcastle, shipyards, first lightbulbs, museums etc. We learnt so much. The coach was on time, immaculate - in fact never seen a coaches windows so clean. Around Newcastle up to Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, pass Seaton Delval Hall, the coast etc. It was just wonderful we enjoyed it immensely. There were people from all over on the tour, America, Australia etc and also all ages. Thank you to Fran, the enthusiasm, the knowledge, the well researched facts. This tour was full and a lot of people going on the full day tour the following day. Absolutely fantastic thank you to all and also for hosting this tour to show the beautiful North East to the world. EXCEPTIONAL. Btw everyone had a great view.

Very Good Tour - Was a very good tour, Fran the guide was an excellent guide, visited a number of the filming locations, after watching clips on the TV along the way before visiting the scenes, was also given a lot of information about Newcastle. Would recommend this tour.

Around town and beyond… - Perfect half day tour to see sights in Newcastle and along the coast. Josh was our guide who kept the tour lively and Adam was our driver who always remained steady on the wheel. Hop along to different “Vera” filming locations with either a quick snack (or walk) in Whitley Bay. Weather was up and down on our tour but a good introduction to the Newcastle/Northumberland area.

Interesting and informative - Vera tour of Newcastle - The tour guide, Amanda, really made it very interesting as she brought insight from having beena supporting artist on the actual show. She and the driver, Walter, managed to find a reasonable workaround when we unexpectedly encountered a road closure. As someone who was brought up in the North East, she also provided a lot of local information which I didn't know about.

Not worth the money paid - When you go on a tour, you expect it to be all about the series. With this, we went a bit further than Whitley bay before going back into central Newcastle. You see a few locations and that's it. We had 2 breaks about half hour each, which I thought was a waste of time in itself as that could be time to tell more information about the series or even show some other locations .....so around an hour just wasted. The tour doesn't need to be 4 hours as it's really not much. Then there's the talking about Newcastle itself, which doesn't really have any relevance to the series in my opinion, that was boring, I don't need to know about who designed and built buildings and bridges, irrelevant to the series despite it being filmed in and around Newcastle. To be honest I was bored. I'd say maximum 2/2 and a half hours for this tour is more than enough and it is definitely overpriced at £42 for what it is. I wouldn't go on it again.
