Experience WEHAF’s mama center, where we offer sewing and cooking classes to empower women with new skills. Their children enjoy learning and playing at our daycare. After the tour, participate in either the cooking or sewing & jewelry workshop.

For the cooking workshop, head to our daycare kitchen. Glory, our English-speaking guide, will introduce you to the spices used in Tanzanian cuisine. The WEHAF mamas will guide you through making Chapati or Pilau, step by step. After savoring your local lunch together, a delightful surprise awaits.

For the sewing & jewelry workshop, visit our mama center with Glory, our English-speaking guide. The talented mamas can create any item from our collection! Once you’ve selected your item and fabric, a mama will start sewing it for you. Meanwhile, learn to craft your own piece of jewelry from our local Maasai mama. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have beautiful, local souvenirs!
