Cheap but loooooong (14 hours!) - ! Warning ! This trip takes 14 hours and nit 7 !!! (6 am to 8 pm…) It is very cheap but it’s clearly paid for in some part by the shops/restaurants we were dropped in… so if you don’t have tome - pay more to not waist time. If you have time, do it ! It was really nice, but long (and you don’t have to buy anything, but still it’s mostly waist of time in shops). Positive points : - very nice driver & guide Francisco - 2 hours at El Chiflon - amazing, I had time to visit all the waterfalls and to swim a little - perfect ! - restaurants at the lake - very authentic food and nice local people Negative points : - we were dropped at a restaurant at 9am for 45 minutes - it’s not included (and you don’t have to take anything, but then you have to wait outside for 45 min… just take a coffee (30 $), use the toilets and wifi and take it with patience if you’re not hungry - 1h30 at the lake - the boat trip proposed for 200 $ to the island few dozens of meters from there - not worth it ! Juste take a walk and have some kice queso rancho at the stands - before san cristobal we weee dropped off to the souvenir shop with some artist - not interesting at all, it took a lot of time (about an hour), we were SO tired… again, if you don’t want to waist your time, take more expensive trip ! 🤷‍♀️
