The Barong and Keris Dance is one of Bali’s most renowned performances, known for its trance-like state, requiring skilled dancers. Uniquely, this dance is performed in the morning, unlike other traditional trance dances held at night. Visitors are drawn to the dance not just for its trance aspect but also for its compelling story of good versus evil. Barong represents the good, while Rangda symbolizes evil. Other characters include a monkey, Rangda’s bodyguards, Goddess Kunti, and God Shiva. Note that not all venues in Bali showcase this dance. We will spend about an hour here.
- Celuk Village - Next, we head to Ubud Art Village, a 30-minute drive away. Along the way, we will visit Celuk Village for fine silver jewelry, Batubulan Village for batik, Mas Village for woodcarving, and painting crafts. We will spend 30 minutes here.
- Tirta Empul Temple - A one-hour drive will take us to Tirta Empul Temple, built around a sacred spring in Tampak Siring. For over a thousand years, Balinese worshipers have visited this temple, believed to be created by Indra, for its healing properties. The tradition remains unchanged, with the temple and its two bathing areas used for health and prosperity. We will spend about an hour here.
- Mount Batur - A 30-minute drive will bring us to Kintamani Village, offering stunning views of the active Mount Batur volcano and Lake Batur. This tour is popular for its magnificent scenery and the opportunity to enjoy lunch while gazing at the volcano and lake. We will spend 30 minutes here.

Tegalalang Rice Terrace - Another 30-minute drive will take us to the Tegallalang Rice Terraces, famous for their beautiful rice paddies and authentic Bali teas and coffees. This area is known for kopi luwak, a unique coffee made from beans eaten and excreted by the Asian palm civet. We will spend an hour here.
After the tour, our driver will take you back to your hotel, which will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
