Tirta Empul Temple - Cleanse your body and soul at Tirta Empul (Holy Spring) Temple
Situated 700 meters above sea level, the holy spring complex of Tirta Empul Temple offers a refreshing atmosphere while purifying the body and soul. It is believed that Lord Indra, one of the highest deities in Hinduism, created this place for healing purposes during a battle against an evil king. It is recommended to spend some time exploring the outer section before or after taking a dip in the pool. - Tegenungan Waterfall - This is the most popular waterfall in Ubud and is not one of Bali’s hidden or secluded waterfalls, but it offers the advantage of easy access and facilities. After passing through the entrance, you will take a 5-minute walk down the trail (about 100 steps), which is quite easy due to the well-maintained pathway. Upon descending, you will be welcomed by a green valley panorama before reaching the cascade, where you can swim, take pictures, and enjoy various activities.

Your first stop in Ubud is the ever-popular Ubud Monkey Forest, an Indiana Jones landscape that’s home to bands of roving macaques. Your driver/guide will show you how to interact with them safely.
Next, head to the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, one of Ubud’s most beautiful rice-field landscapes. Just a little further north, fill up your camera roll with a quintessential Ubud experience, a jungle swing, then have lunch overlooking the forest.
After lunch, go deeper into Balinese culture when your driver/guide introduces the sacred springs of Tirta Empul Temple. Your final stop before your driver drops you back is the spectacular Tegenungan Waterfall, a roaring 50-foot (15-meter) cascade set amid lush forest.
