Susila was fantastic, definitely recommend - Susila is an absolute gem of a tour guide! He was incredibly attentive, authentic, and funny! He bought us water for us to drink and fish food to give to the koi fish at the temple, free of charge. 💕 When we went to the temple, he invited us to pray but was very respectful of our religion (as we do not practice Balinese Hinduism) and said it is alright to pray according to what we believe, as he will pray according to how he believes. 🙏🏻 He gave us a thorough breakdown of the historical and cultural background, as well as a detailed insight into the nuances of how history has developed and played out in present day. He is authentic - when we passed by the markets and asked whether it was a good deal or not, he told us it was not and gave us a ball park of what it should be. 😁 When the merchants at the temple were selling offerings and being pushy about buying more than one, he interceded for us so that we could politely say no thank you and only purchase what we wanted. 😊 Another memorable experience was when he showed us the Balinese calendar and explained how different months are associated with different personality traits (e.g., like Myers Briggs or horoscopes) - very fun! I could list so many more examples about how kind, courteous, and knowledgeable he was. I don't think our experience would have been as immersive, enriching, enjoyable or memorable had we not crossed paths with Susila. We will definitely be looking to book Susila as our guide when we come back to visit Bali with our friends. 😊🥰

Amazing experience - This tour was awesome!!! We got to see SO much in one day. Our driver was open to taking us other places if we had time and had so many great recommendations for us to experience. We wanted to go to a rice terrace but the one we wanted to see was small so our driver took us to a giant one, Jatiluwih, and it was breathtaking! He also took us to an incredible coffee and tea tour (amazing!!) and a second waterfall. We ended up using our driver for the next day for a visit to turtle island before taking us to the airport. Highly recommended this tour and our driver, Kadek Suta!

This is the best tour guide you could ever ask for! - Susila is the best person to show you around Bali. Not only is he very good at sharing the facts of the culture, religion and daily life of balinese people but his personality is warm and funny making him the perfect host for your trip, be it a family trip (he is amazing with kids) or a friends or couple trip. He is very caring and always looking at ways to make your experience in Bali better. I would say he is always anticipating your needs and exceeding any expectation you might have. He also takes you to off beaten path which is a breath of fresh air from other tour operators. Whenever I'm in Bali Susila is the person I trust to organise everything for me.
