  • Cordillera del Arcoiris Palccoyo - The pick-up time will be between 04:30 to 05:00 in the morning (we suggest you acclimatize at least one day in the city of Cusco before starting this tour) once together with the whole group we will head south Cusco for approximately 2h30m, until we reach the Pitumarka district, where we will have our succulent breakfast, prepared by our experienced chefs, then we will continue our journey in the direction of the Combapata district, before reaching the town, we will make a stop to enjoy the photos of the attraction Combapata colonial bridge (may be on return), later and for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the left bank of the Salka river, by an unpaved road, we will continue our journey, in this section we will see native alpacas in beautiful mountain landscapes, finally we will reach the community of Palccoyo, located at 4100 meters, from this point we will have privileged views of the colorful mountain range of Palccoy or, with its three mountains of visible colors, we will also enjoy the view of the great valley of stones. This is an excellent option for people who do not like walking, your guide will give you the option of a 40-minute walk to reach the highest parts to better see the three red hills and the stone forest. After 2 to 3 hours of total enjoyment, we will return to Cusco in our van along the same section, we will have our lunch in Pitumarca, upon arrival in the city of Cusco, (approximately 18:30) we will leave you at your hotel, or closer.

Despite the throng of visitors queuing to see Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca every day, a mere 20 kilometers to the south sit three vibrant mountains, often left in tranquility. Exhibiting an array of shades including red, ocher, and stripes of green, blue, and white, the stunning Palcoyo Mountain Range only sees a handful of tourists daily. The approach entails a light hour-long walk, devoid of challenging inclines, making it a less stressful alternative to the strenuous trek to Vinicunca.
