Ranakpur Jain Temple - Visit the Ranakpur Jain Temple in the morning. The temple complex features 1444 intricately carved pillars, 24 pillared halls, and 80 domes supported by 400 columns. Remarkably, no two pillars are identical! The temple has five spires, each with a shrine beneath it, and under the largest spire at the main entrance (Chaumukha Shrine), there is a 6-foot-tall statue of Lord Adinath. The temple is also renowned for the carving of the four-headed image of Adinath, protected by a 108-headed snake with numerous tails. The four heads face different directions, symbolizing the Tirthankaras’ pursuit.

This impressive fort is 3600 ft tall and 38 km long, encircling the Udaipur area. Jagmandir - Jagmandir is a palace on an island in Lake Pichola, also known as the ‘Lake Garden Palace’. Construction began in 1620 and was completed around 1652. The royal family used it as a summer resort and for hosting parties. Notably, Prince Khurram, later Emperor Shah Jahan, was sheltered here when he rebelled against his father, Emperor Jahangir. The palace inspired the design of the Taj Mahal.
Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace - Located just outside Udaipur, this 19th-century palace sits atop Bansdara hills. Originally intended as an astronomical center by its builder, Maharana Sajjan Singh, the plan was abandoned after his untimely death. It remains an impressive sight on the Udaipur skyline, offering spectacular views of the city and surrounding areas.
