The Crystal Gallery is home to an exquisite collection of crystals that Maharana Sajjan Singh commissioned from F&C Osler & Co in England in 1877. Unfortunately, the Maharana passed away before the arrival of the collection, and the items were left unopened and stored away for 110 years. It wasn’t until 1994 that they were finally exhibited to the public.
This regal assemblage features a variety of art pieces, dining ware, scent bottles, decanters, goblets, basins, and even pieces of furniture. Among the treasures is an invaluable Flora Danica dinner set adorned with the crest of the House of Mewar. Out of the original Flora Danica set pieces that were delivered in 1803, 1,530 pieces are still in existence today.
