Family vacation Rajasthan - Sajjangarh palace is the Monsoon palace. It is situated at a height from where one can get glimpse of entire Udaipur City. The scenic beauty of the Udaipur City is visible from the top of palace. Its a nice place to visit. One has to take the entry tickets at the entry gate of the palace. From there one has to go steep hill either by local jeep or by personal vehicle/taxi . Bus Tempo traveller etc are not allowed. There is a restaurant on top so one can get refreshments. Overall it is a must place to visit.

Must do in Udaipur - We were not sure what to expect when we planned to go here. This is a highly under rated place and a must visit when you go to Udaipur. The views are spectacular. You can feel the history in the palace. The place could be better maintained and done up to cover the importance and beauty of the place. Worth the visit. There re two options to go up the hill - one walk up from the entrance or second drive up. I would recommend drive up so you can walk a lot when you reach the palace.

Trip to Monsoon Palace : great views of the city and surrounding countryside! - Great views of the city and surrounding countryside. Not much in the palace itself but views from the top are impressive. Mukesh our driver got us there and back safely - the roads are very steep and narrow. Unfortunately he did not speak English - not a major setback but we were not able to ask questions about the sites on the way. Overall: worth a quick visit .

More interesting things to do in Udaipur! - Monsoon Palace of Udaipur entrance ticket with optional add-ons Udaipur A waste of time! 924607864 Nov 2023 • Friends The costs are ridiculous if compared to other attractions in Udaipur. Overcharged to get in and then you have to take the transport they provide, which you sit in in the baking sun until it’s full, then they leave to go up the hill. You are able to take your own car, but you pay for that too at an overcharged rate. The building is in a poor state of repair and there is nothing worth looking at inside. Any view from is hazy due to high pollution. Which means you can’t get great pictures either. And the monkeys are terrifying particularly when they bounce towards you thinking your bag or rucksack contains food.
