Continue the drive to your pre-booked lodge near Bwindi National Park for relaxation and an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking Tour

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Begin with an early morning breakfast, then head to the Bwindi headquarters in the Buhoma sector to the North. You’ll receive an orientation on gorilla trekking rules, be assigned a gorilla family, and start the trek at 8:00 am. Trek through the dense rainforest, searching for mountain gorillas while encountering butterflies, other mammals, and birds along the way.

Today’s trek will last between 2-6 hours. Once you find a gorilla group, you’ll be allowed to spend 1 hour with them, maintaining a distance of about 10 meters. After observing the mountain gorillas in the misty forest of Bwindi, have lunch. Later, engage with the Batwa pygmies, who are believed to have lived in the area for 500,000 years, and explore their diverse cultures, traditions, and lifestyles.

Departure

Entebbe - After breakfast, check out of the lodge where you’ve stayed for the past 2 nights and drive back to Kampala via Mbarara and Masaka. This concludes the 3-day gorilla safari at Bwindi National Park in Southwestern Uganda.
