Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - A representative will meet you at Kigali Airport or in downtown Kigali to drive you to Bwindi National Park. This picturesque journey to Uganda takes approximately 4 to 5 hours and passes through Rwanda’s northern town of Ruhengeri, crossing into Uganda via the Cyanika or Katuna border posts. The route continues through the nearby towns of Kisoro or Kabale, leading into Bwindi National Park. Arriving in the early afternoon, you can choose from optional activities such as hiking, visiting the Batwa community, or engaging in the local coffee-making industry.
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - The highlight of your visit begins early in the morning with a briefing from park rangers on gorilla trekking guidelines. You will be grouped according to the gorilla family you are assigned to track. The trek duration varies from 2 to 8 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location that day. Upon finding the gorillas, you will have one hour to observe them in their natural environment. This unforgettable experience allows you to watch these magnificent creatures interact. After the trek, return to your lodge to relax and reflect on the day’s adventure.

Kasenyi Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Queen Elizabeth National Park - Begin the action-packed fourth day with an early breakfast at the lodge. Then, head to the renowned Kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park to observe various wildlife species. Located in the expansive savannahs of the Albertine Rift, the Kasenyi plains promise a morning full of adventure! Expect to see lions, herds of buffalo, elephants, Uganda Kobs, Topi, and bushbucks. While spotting the ‘big five’ is not guaranteed, you might be lucky enough to see leopards, making it the ‘big four.’ Return to the lodge for lunch.
Kazinga Channel - After lunch, embark on the Kazinga Channel boat cruise for an afternoon of wildlife viewing. You’ll have the opportunity to see crocodiles, buffalo, elephants, and a diverse array of bird species along the channel waters.
Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest & Departure
Kibale National Park - Following an early breakfast, travel to Kibale Forest to track chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Visitors to Kibale Forest have over a 90% chance of encountering these primates. Kibale Forest is not only a sanctuary for chimps but also home to other primate species. During the trek, you might also see different colobus monkeys, olive baboons, and red-tailed monkeys.
After the trekking adventure, the tour concludes with a transfer to Kampala or Entebbe.
