Thereafter, you will proceed to your lodge to check in and enjoy lunch before taking a boat cruise to the base of the marvelous waterfalls. Embark on a journey to the Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s biggest wildlife sanctuary, known for its stunning waterfalls that share the park’s name and extensive variety of animals.
The park is divided into two parts - the north and south, separated by the Victoria Nile. Along its shores, a rich array of wildlife, including lions, buffaloes, crocs, elephants, hippos, and Shoebill can be found.
The striking Murchison falls, that plummet 45m down rugged cliffs, and the infamous big five - lions, elephants, leopards, hippos, and rhinos - serve as the main attractions of this park. Though rhinos are not native to the park, they can be viewed on your journey to the park at the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Witness the white rhinos strolling at the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only habitat in Uganda for the threatened white rhinos, forming part of the Famous Big Five.
