Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Evening Game Drive

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Guides will pick up travelers in Kampala in the morning for a scenic drive. There will be a stop for coffee and photos at the Equator. The journey continues through villages with cultivated lands until reaching the lush green tea estates in a vibrant green belt, leading to the escarpment with breathtaking views over Queen Elizabeth National Park. Lunch will be provided either en route or at the lodge, depending on the time. Upon arrival at the lodge, if time permits, an evening game drive will be available to spot members of the Big Five.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

Queen Elizabeth National Park - An early morning game drive offers the opportunity to see a variety of animals, including members of the Big Five. A picnic breakfast will be enjoyed on the savanna. While driving along the circuits, travelers may see elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, warthogs, hyenas, and many other species native to the park. The park is also home to a rich bird life, with many colorful birds visible. After lunch at the lodge, the journey continues to the 3pm boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a classic highlight of the park that lasts two hours. The Kazinga Channel is 36 km long and connects Lake George and Lake Edward. Along the shores, there are high chances of spotting hippos, crocodiles, warthogs, buffaloes, elephants, and more. With binoculars, travelers can enjoy a magnificent view of birds along the peninsula. After the boat cruise, the guide will drive back to the lodge for dinner.

Chimpanzee Trekking in Kalinzu Forest and Transfer to Kampala

Kalinzu Central Forest Reserve - After breakfast, travelers will set off for chimp trekking in Kalinzu Forest. Accompanied by a specialized guide, they will explore the fascinating jungle and observe chimpanzees. Once trekking is complete, the drive back to Kampala begins, with a stopover at the Equator or in Mbarara for lunch, depending on the time. Arrival in Kampala is expected in the late afternoon.
