Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Evening Game Drive

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Guides will pick up the operator in Kampala in the morning for a scenic drive. There will be a stop for coffee and photos at the Equator. The journey continues through villages with cultivated areas until reaching the lush green tea estates in a vibrant green belt before arriving at the escarpment with breathtaking views over Queen Elizabeth National Park. Lunch will be provided either en route or at the lodge, depending on the time. After checking in at the lodge, if time permits, an evening game drive will be available to spot members of the Big Five.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

Queen Elizabeth National Park - An early morning game drive offers the opportunity to see a variety of animals and possibly members of the Big Five. A picnic breakfast will be enjoyed on the savanna. While driving along the circuits, elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, warthogs, hyenas, and many other species native to the park may be spotted. The park is rich in birdlife, with many colorful birds visible. After lunch at the lodge, the operator will depart for the 3 pm boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a classic highlight of the park lasting two hours. The Kazinga Channel is 36 km long and connects Lake George and Lake Edward. Along the shores, there are high chances of seeing hippos, crocodiles, warthogs, buffaloes, elephants, and more. With binoculars, there is a magnificent view of birds along the peninsula. After returning from the boat cruise, the guide will drive back to the lodge for dinner.

Chimpanzee Trekking in Kalinzu Forest and Transfer to Kampala

Kalinzu Central Forest Reserve - After breakfast, the operator will set off for chimp trekking in Kalinzu Forest. A specialized guide will lead the way into the fascinating jungle to see the chimpanzees. Once trekking is complete, the journey back to Kampala will begin, with a stopover at the Equator or in Mbarara for lunch, depending on the time. Arrival in Kampala is expected in the late afternoon.
