According to the Georgian historian Leonti Mroveli, the cornerstone of the Ujarma fortress was built by the Georgian-Iberian king Aspaguri in the III-IV centuries. During the reign of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the castle was expanded and used as a residence.

The palace church, the east door and the bath were built in the second half of the 18th century by Archil. King Erekle built a five-meter wall in 1753. - Gremi - Gremi is an architectural monument of the 16th century - the Royal Citadel and the Church of the Archangels - in Kakheti, in the XVI-XVII centuries it was the capital of the Kingdom of Kakheti. Founded by Levan Kakheti. The city was destroyed by Shah Abbas’ army in the 17th century.
- Kindzmarauli Corporation Wine House - The history of Kindzmarauli Corporation begins and is connected with the construction of the historic Kvareli Fortress in the region. The prison cellar produced wine exclusively for royal families. Kindzmarauli Cellar has a library of large vineyards with more than 400 vine varieties, visit the famous Kindzmarauli Winery, where you will visit the factory and enjoy tasting their wine.
