This event takes place at Eshin-in Temple, conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Ujibashi Bridge, the heart of Kyoto Uji’s tourist area.
The fragrance is exclusively made from matcha, utilizing recycled fresh Uji matcha that would otherwise be discarded.
This makes an ideal souvenir for your loved ones.

Participants will create 5-6 incense sticks, choosing from a variety of wooden molds. With many adorable shapes and designs representing Japan’s four seasons, selecting a mold is an exciting experience.

The event takes place at Eshin-in Temple, located in the heart of Kyoto Uji tourism. The garden, maintained by the priest, features many seasonal flowers and offers a beautiful view of Byodo-in Temple across the Uji River.
