Following your morning pick-up from your Ulaanbaatar hotel, you’ll be transported to the Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes, a scene of semi-arid beauty punctuated by large sand dunes. Following your morning pick-up from your Ulaanbaatar hotel, you’ll be transported to the Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes, a scene of semi-arid beauty punctuated by large sand dunes. A lunch break will be arranged at an appropriate location during the journey. The mountain area is a sanctuary for birds, deer, and gazelle, and you’ll have the chance to explore the small nearby dunes known as Elsen Tasarkhai on a couple of hours’ camel trek. Later on, you’ll spend time with a local nomad family, gaining a deeper understanding of their lifestyle, culture, and customs. The tour concludes when you are taken back to Ulaanbaatar.
