Airport pick up and Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar - We will pick you up from airport or train station. Then we will drop you off at your accommodation in Ulaanbaatar. Travelers can enjoy the city or take a rest.

Middle Gobi - Baga Gazriin Chuluu (220 km)

Baga Gazriin Chuluu (Small Rock Formation) - We will pick you up at your hotel lobby after breakfast at 8am. The journey starts drive to Baga Gazriin Chuluu, a unique formation of rocks in Dund Gobi province. Visit ruins of an ancient temple and explore the area. Lunch is on the way. Have dinner and overnight in a ger camp

Tsagaan Suvraga - White Stupa (200 km)

Tsagaan Suvarga Mine - After breakfast, drive further heading magnificent Tsagaan Suvarga. Meaning “White Stupa”, it is a deep escarpment formed over time due to erosion of a sedimentary mud in the sea bottom and looks like a stupa from far distance. From far-east it looks like a city ruin or a settlement, but from west it looks like a flat steppe. This escarpment is 60m high, about 400m wide, and believed to have almost 900 steep banks. After rainfall, torrents of water flowing down the banks looks like a massive waterfall. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay are in a ger camp near Tsagaan Suvarga.

Ulaanbaatar - We will take morning flight to Ulaanbaatar. The flight is approx. 1.5-hour long. Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, guided tours to city highlights such as Sukhbaatar Square, Bogd Khaan’s Winter Palace Museum, Zaisan Memorial Hill, Gandan Monastery and National History Museum. Lunch and dinner in a city restaurant. Enjoy traditional folk concert in the evening
