Very worthy - It was really excellent experience. The guide took me many places and was be very patient while I was shopping. Leather goods are very cheap and good quality. It is worth to buy. National museum was so so. Thank you 🙏 Viator.

Great Way to See UB in a Day! - We really enjoyed the day tour with our guide, Bayaraa. He picked us up from the hotel on time and drove us around the city (not walking / taxi as another reviewer mentioned). Our order of attractions, since the descriptions vary, was Gandantegchenling Monastery, Sükhbaatar Square, National History Museum, Black Market with lunch inside the mall next to the market, the Bogd Khan Winter Palace, and the cashmere shop near the palace. Traffic was crazy, but that is UB for you. Overall, a great way to spend our first day in UB and give us our bearings for the city! Thank you!

It was just great. I will be back for more! - It was an amazing day in UB. I had so much fun. The guide was really good. I saw a lot of this beautiful city and even tasted Mongolian food. And I made some great bargains at the black market.. Wow.. real camel wool socks... and yak wool sweater. I will be booking a tour going to the countryside soon. because this is a great company.

Ok the black market is not a good mix - Our guide Digin was great he made the best of what the city has to offer. We requested a sustitución to go to Chengis Kahn museum instead of the national and that was graciously granted. Black market was part of the original itinerary but I really think that was ugly, I felt unsafe and I much rather would go to a diferent place next time

Interesting Walking tour - This is not a coach tour. My guide picked me at my hotel at the agreed time and we walked to the first attraction - National Museum of Mongolia, 20 minutes walk. He was very helpful providing a lot of information on the history and current Mongolia. From the museum we walked across the street to the National Parliament at the Dzinghis Khan square. From there we took a taxi (there are very few of them in the city and my guide stopped an unmarked one at the corner) to the Bogd Khan Museum - which is a former royal palace. Very nice. In the meantime rain started and we again picked up an unmarked taxi to go to the Black-market. Not worth visiting. There we also had a lunch at a typical local restaurant. Food was simple but tasty. We skipped the Gandan Monastery (as I visited it the previous day on my own). All in all interesting.

Feeling a bit duped! - No one told me the Black Market would be closed the day I had signed up. They substituted a shopping trip to a department store... good try but I felt duped as the Black Market was why I had signed up for the tour. My tour leader was lovely and it was not her fault she was just assigned to this tour.
