Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur National Park - After an early breakfast, head to Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur, also known as Terkh White Lake. The name “White Lake” is derived from the lake’s exceptionally clear, pristine water. Located in the Khangai Mountains in central Mongolia, this deep lake was formed by volcanic activity at an elevation of 2,000 meters, featuring expansive and crystal-clear waters reminiscent of the sea. Surrounded by volcanic formations, the area has been designated a national park and was recognized as a top travel destination by CNN in 2011.
